A stunning rare sterling silver Arts and Crafts Worshipful Company cup or chalice. It is hallmarked for London 1936 with the makers mark being RC for William Comyns & Sons Ltd. It has been beautifully hand made being lightly hammered (planished) in a Medieval style. The base has been engraved Presented by the Armourers & Brasiers Company to Andrew Hunter Morton, December, 1936 Copy of Beaker A. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs.
It measures 4 inches (10.3cms) tall by 2.5 inches (6.2cms) across the bowl and the same across the base and weighs 96 grams. A beautifully designed very high quality piece.
